The date for the dan and kyu gradings in december has been changed. The gradings will now take place on Saturday 13th December. Starting at 10am for dan grades and 1.45pm for all kyu grades. The gradings will be held at Haughton Education Village as usual. For more details check the diary page.
The autumn gashuku took place at Haggerston Castle Holiday Park this weekend. Well done to everyone who took part and we hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.
Today was the last day of the kid’s summer course. Congratulations to all those who participated in the event and all those who won trophies today. Keep checking the site as photos from the course will be added as soon as possible.
The kids summer course began today, there was a good turn out and it looks to be a fun filled week. I hope everyone participating enjoys the event and good luck to all in the kata and superstars competitions.

Congratualtions to Andrew Woodend and Kathryn Yates who are celebrating the birth of their daughter today. Holly Ann Woodend was born at 8.58am today weighing 7lbs 13oz.

Congratulations to Sensei Mike Greaves who was promoted to 5th Dan at the weekend. The grade was awarded during the annual interclub autumn gashuku, which was held at Golden Sands Holiday Park in Mablethorpe, Licolnshire. Well done to everyone who participated in the event, hope everyone enjoyed the weekend.

The annual kids summer course started today, well done to all those who are participating and enjoy the rest of the week.
